The Town of Walden is the "Moose Viewing Capital of Colorado".  It is a recreational and natural resource gem, located in the pristine mountains of North Park. Abundant wildlife, fishing, hiking and x-country trails, snowmobiling and the northern sand dunes are all in the backyard. The real west lives here. Old time patterns in ranching, logging, and mining mix with modern practices. Walden is situated in the center of a large open valley called North Park, Colorado, an area whose history is as vivid and engaging as the natural beauty that surrounds it. In the old times it was also refer to as the Bullpen. North Park boundaries are made up of the Wyoming border to the north, the Medicine Bow Range to the east, The Rabbit Ears Range to the south and the Park Range to the west.Walden.
